We call it a Buckle Break, but Connor calls it a pain in the arm! He currently has a temporary cast on his right arm from a scooter accident at the skate park. Friday he goes to the Ortho Doc to get a permanent cast! He wants a RED and BLACK one. We'll see! Silly kid!

I am the Luckiest Girl...junk food, 800 miles roundtrip and Ironman!
On the road again....oh wait! So we are not the travelers that we once were. With four kids, would you? The tip top picture shows the kids content and happy in car seats ready for a looooong drive. We were only an hour into a 6 hour drive. That's why! Jon and I look calm as cucumbers, only because I was not about to take a picture of me saying yet again, "NO! We are not there yet!"
About a package of rice crispies, package of homemade cookies, and can of Pringles into the trip, we pulled out the licorice. See how creative and yummy it was? It kept them entertained for 20 mins. That equivalent to about 30 miles, right?
One of the highlights of a 6 hour drive was the dip in hotel pool. Ahhhh! It was fun and just what we needed. The kids get their love of hotels from their mother, or so Jon tells me. Maybe I just like not having to make the beds!
So that is the extent of my pictures of our Boise trip. Hmmm....Maybe I should have take pictures of the kids with their cousins, their Great Grandma Pinn-Gratton, Aunt Pam's fabulous dinner, or even the main reason we took a road trip, Kaylee's Baby Blessing! But for whatever reason, I didn't! The cousins had fun at the park and at lunch. We enjoyed visiting with everyone. And we especially love Miss Kaylee. She is beautiful and Oh so fun to hold.
But I think that Nicholas, my 3 year old nephew, was my favorite. I think that he truly Believes that his Uncle Jonathan is Ironman.
You know, Tony Stark, aka Robert Downey Jr. Seriously! He walked around calling out "Ironman, Ironman, Ironman". I sure hope that one day when his balloon bursts and he finds out that Uncle Jon is really Uncle Jon and that he does not have a suit, but drives a compact car and a mini van, that he won't have to have too many years of therapy! I can totally see the resemblance! It's his sexy goatee. I am so lucky, he's Hot! Jon, that is!
Thanks to all, especially to Nicholas, for a great weekend!

Happy Easter! Really? Even with the snow?
Happy Easter!
Eggs taking a dip!
Happy Spring Break!?!
Can you spot the pup? This here is Daphne. She is in our front yard.
Logan behind his snow fort, taking a break from his snowball fight with Connor.
Connor and his sa-weet snow fort.
Miss Delaney. Happy as a little clam.
Miss Rori. She was a happy little clam too, after she hit mommy with a snowball! OK. So it wasn't that big of a snowball!
The Grand Finale of Spring Break: Going to the movie to see How to Train Your Dragon. Licorice, popcorn, and sour gummy worms, Milk Duds, and soda! What more can you ask for? Maybe a little SUN?
